Bride Faints on Deal or No Deal.
When Simon Lawlor was a contestant on Channel 4′s Deal or No Deal, his wife, Angela fainted in front of the TV cameras. Angela has fainted before during an important occasion, at her own wedding in August 2006!
Thirty six year old Simon, had asked for his wife to join him at the stand to offer him some support in his decision making and while he was considering the offer during the TV show. It was at his point Angela fainted. As Noel Edmonds, the host of the show watched, Angela was checked over by medical staff and was wheeled off the stage in a wheelchair.
Thirty three year old Angela, an occupational therapist, while happy to admit what happened on the show said that it did not compare to the disastrous events which happened during her wedding three years ago in Blackhall at the Hardwicke Hall Manor Hotel. While walking down the aisle, Angela began to faint. On seeing the bride falling to the floor, Mr Graeme Measor the best man tried to catch her and ended up dropping the wedding rings which scattered across the floor. Once Angela had recovered the wedding ceremony was able to continue but with the bride seated.
Angela is able to look back now and laugh about. She acknowledges that it is nerves and anxiety that make her react this way but her husband Simon said that he would have no problems in getting Angela back up on another stage if the need arises.
