But with all the stories of celebrity love rats and scandals, it seems that Myleene’s having second thoughts about getting married at all.

Having previously said that they would probably have a spontaneous beach wedding, recent events surrounding celebrity marriage scandals have made the 32-year-old think twice about making the commitment.

Myleene told a UK magazine she has been affected by several recent celebrity marriage scandals, admitting “You do wonder if it could happen to you. My mum keeps asking me when I’m going to get married, but I don’t think it’s going to happen any more!”

The former Hear’Say singer – who has a two-year-old daughter with Graham – adds, “When I look at all the celeb couples splitting up, I think it’s time to return to the basics.”

Despite the change of plans, the couple are definitely still together.

Myleene still calls Graham her best friend. “He knows me inside out and he still loves me, so that’s got to be a bonus, right?”.

Katie Price and her new husband Alex Reid are reported to have spent their wedding night at the world’s biggest strip club.  The SUN is reporting that they shunned a romantic dinner or an evening in their hotel room to go with pals to the Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club in Las Vegas.  The couple spent more than four hours in a $1,000(£630)-an-hour private room called The Skybox with a constant rotation of the club’s best lap dancers.

Jordan, 31 – real name Katie Price – and Celebrity Big Brother winner Alex, 34, wed on Tuesday in a 20-minute ceremony at the Wynn hotel.  She was given away by two of her gay pals and was watched by a few more friends, a TV crew, and security and magazine staff.

A celebrity magazine deal is believed to be worth £1million.

They are staying in a Planet Hollywood hotel suite – complete with a pole dancing pole. A hotel source said: “Katie requested the suite with a stripper’s pole.”

The couple, who have been together seven months, rushed through a wedding licence hours after landing in Las Vegas.  It gives their full names as Katie Price and Alexander Aristides Reid. A pal of Jordan’s revealed their shock at the wedding – and insisted the marriage was doomed.

The source revealed: “Katie doesn’t care if this lasts or not. One thing you have to give her is she is excellent at making money.  “Two weeks ago she was ready to dump Alex – then he goes on to win Celebrity Big Brother and she marries him.  “She knows it will make her another few million in magazine deals.  “I would expect her to have a kid with him then the relationship will fall apart because he will tire of her bullying.”

But a spokesman for Jordan insisted: “Their decision to marry has not been made with any pre-conceived commercial plan or media deal in place, and their reason for getting married is purely down to their love for each other.”
