Kevin Jonas to Marry

It is reported that Kevin Jonas has booked a wedding venue and could marry his girlfriend Danielle Deleasa this Saturday, at the same castle in Long Island where ‘NSYNC’s Joey Fatone got married, and where scenes from Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher’s “What Happens in Vegas” were filmed.

Kevin Jonas met Danielle Deleasa for the very first time in May 2007 while they were vacationing in the Bahamas with their families.  The oldest of the Jonas Brothers proposed to the former hairdresser in July this year, presenting her with a cushion-cut diamond ring that he designed with Jacob & Co.

Sources claim that the bride will don a strapless Vera Wang wedding dress and a hairpiece designed by Denise Leli.  “Danielle has gone for a romantic dress and an intricate headpiece with floral details, because when she met Kevin on the beach she was wearing a flower in her hair.”

Uma Thurman calls off her wedding plans

It has been revealed that Uma Thurman has cancelled her wedding plans to billionnaire Arpad Busson, even though they have been engaged for more than a year.

A source close to the Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill star said that despite the breakup, the pair remain friends – although Uma will return her engagement ring.”She will probably give it back. She wants to return everything that is his,” the insider added.

Back in September, the actress claimed that although she was “happily engaged” to Busson, they had not set a date and were waiting until they were both ready to start wedding planning – although rumoured by the tabloid Daily Mail newspaper, that they had been planning a fairy tale wedding at Kensington Palace, former home to the late Princess Diana. A source told the tabloid paper, “Uma wants to get married like a princess. She already has an eight-carat diamond ring and now she is planning to get married in a palace. They want to have it entirely to themselves, so as well as the 11,000 pounds ceremony and venue hire fee, they have hired the rest of the palace to ensure it’s completely private.”

Les Dennis Weds for Third Time

The comedian, Les Dennis, has married for the third time, this time to life coach Claire Nicholson, 38. The couple wed in Highgate, North London, with their 19-month-old daughter Eleanor Grace as flower girl. Mr Dennis met business coach Claire in November 2005 at the fundraising Butterfly Ball, in memory of former Holby City actress Laura Sadler.

Dennis, 56, said recently: ‘People still like to think of me as sad, lonely Les, but I’m not. I’m now the happiest and most contented I’ve ever been in my life. The past is a foreign country; people do things differently there.’ He was referring to his very public break up from his second wife, Amanda Holden, after her affair with Men Behaving Badly star Neil Morrissey.

There were around 160 guests, including actress Michelle Collins, entertainer Lionel Blair and Loose Women presenters Carol McGiffin, Sherrie Hewson and Denise Welch, gathered at St Augustine of Canterbury Church to watch the couple exchange vows after a register office ceremony.

Bollywood Star Shilpa Shetty declines Hello magazine deal

Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty reportedly declined a deal worth nearly £75,000 from Hello magazine for exclusive rights to cover her wedding. She tied the knot with UK based businessman Raj Kundra at a wedding ceremony in South East Mumbai.

A source told an Indian daily newspaper that Celebrity Big Brother winner turned down the deal because she was uncomfortable with some of the conditions. The source said: “One of the clauses in the contract offered by the international magazine was that no other photographers would be allowed at the event. Also they didn’t want any of the guests to carry their cell phones in case someone leaked the pictures to other media. Ms Shetty was not comfortable with either of these conditions.”

The 34-year-old actress did not want her guests to be frisked or their cell phones taken away, the source added, “She is not looking to make money from this wedding. It is a sacred and a beautiful occasion for her, and she doesn’t want any bad energy around.”

Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill recently married singer/songwriter Jessie Baylin. The wedding took place in Tennessee where the couple live.  The couple got engaged in June of 2007.

The groom posted a picture of his gold wedding ring on his Twitter page. “My last week as a single/engaged man has begun,” Followill said last week. “I will eat like a king for sure. A fat groom is a happy one.”

Britney ‘set to wed for third time’

Britney Spears is reportedly planning to marry her agent, Jason Trawick, who she has been dating for months. The singer, who is all set to walk down the aisle for the third time, has never made her relationship with Jason public, though there have been rumours about a man in her life for months.

Britney married childhood sweetheart Jason Alexander in January 2004, but the wedding lasted for only 55 hours. Her second wedding to dancer Kevin Federline in September 2004 ended with a divorce battle in 2007

Mark Owen’s Highland Wedding

Take That band member, Mark Owen is now officially a married man.  Mark tied the knot to long term girlfriend, and mother to his two children Emma Ferguson in a Highland ceremony at Cawdor Church near Inverness, afterwards heading to a reception at the historic Cawdor Castle. The couple, who have turned down magazine offers to cover the ceremony, have visited the Highlands in the past and have told friends the venue is their dream location.

Mark, who wore a purple velvet morning suit with traditional top hat, gave his fans a wave as he arrived with fellow Take That band mates Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Jason Orange. His fellow Take That members, dressed in black tuxedos, white shirts and red roses in their buttonholes, had flown to Scotland on a 17-seater Lear jet to support him.

Emma arrived 25 minutes late for the wedding, wearing a white V-neck fitted gown, embellished with crystals, and an antique-style veil.  She smiled and waved as the crowd outside the church cheered and applauded.  Encircled by a flurry of photographers, Ferguson was assisted into the church by two bridesmaids, who were also wearing white.

Mad Men star Christina Hendricks and her actor partner Geoffrey Arend  tied the knot recently in a quiet ceremony in  New York restaurant Il Buco.
