Simon Cowell Wedding Plans

Although ‘American Idol’ judge Simon Cowell joked on ‘The Tonight Show’ recently about getting married sometime “in the next 10 years,” it seems the wedding to his girlfriend Mezghan Hussainy is going to be much sooner, with the couple reportedly planning a September wedding.

According to Popeater, ‘Idol’ stylist Miles Siggins told Fancast.com that Cowell and Mezghan are planning to wed in September. “I was kind of surprised,” said Siggins. “I knew they were dating, but I was surprised that they got engaged [so quickly].” Simon Cowell’s representatives would not comment, saying, “Simon’s private life is his private life.”

Cowell’s publicist Max Clifford admits Hussainy is well-suited for Cowell’s blunt manners. “She is someone who is independent and says what she thinks and feels, and he likes that. He’s probably the happiest I have ever known him in the nine years I’ve been working with him.”

Miss Hussainy announced in late February that Cowell did indeed ask her to marry him and recently stepped out in public for the first time since their engagement sporting a huge diamond ring. Siggins also dished to Fancast that the engagement ring cost over $400,000 (a bit lower than the reported estimate of $750,000).

Vince Vaughn weds in secret ceremony

Comedy actor Vince Vaughn is one of the first celebrities to walk down the aisle in 2010.  The Hollywood actor  secretly married his girlfriend of two years – Canadian estate agent Kyla Weber, People magazine reports.

The wedding took place over the weekend at the historic Arnour House in affluent Lake Forest, Illinois, on the shore of Lake Michigan,  Chicago, in front of 65 friends and family.

Speaking to the publication, a source said: “They could not be happier.”

Vaughn’s former girlfriend JENNIFER ANISTON, who starred alongside him in The Break-Up, did not attend the ceremony.

A spokesperson for Vaughn, 39, last night confirmed the ceremony did take place.

Grace Adams-Short’s quiet, traditional wedding

Big Brother 7 contestant Grace Adams-Short has revealed that she kept her marriage to be a “traditional affair” which she wanted to keep “classy and meaningful”. -  A celeb-free occasion with close family and friends attending the big day.

Speaking to Digital Spy, she said that  her wedding to fellow reality TV contestant Mikey Dalton was at a church near her mother’s home town in Devon.

Despite keeping the wedding a private affair, the whole event was filmed by Wedding TV as the couple allowed their wedding to be filmed by Wedding TV, following the successful filming of them before (on Help! I Need a Wedding Entertainer).

” I have to admit that I was really girly and into the preparations. I was actually bridezilla right up until the end. Even writing up the thank you notes, I was bridezilla. For me, it was all about the preparation and I wanted everything to run like clockwork.”

Christina Hendricks Marries in New York

Mad Men star Christina Hendricks and her actor partner Geoffrey Arend  tied the knot recently in a quiet ceremony in  New York restaurant Il Buco.

Dressed in a Carolina Herrera strapless ivory fils coup wedding gown with autumnal coloured flowers and wedding jewellery, the 34-year-old redhead looked stunning as she walked down a makeshift aisle surrounded by her family and closest friends.
Commenting ahead of her big day, the actress who plays Joan in the 1960s-based US drama, recently claimed that the couple  wanted to be with family and best friends  and did not want to spread themselves too thin on their wedding day.

“We really wanted it to have a warm environment so we kept it with the tightest people,” she said.
