Amy Huberman and Brian O’Driscoll will throw Ireland’s celebrity wedding of the summer after block-booking an entire five-star hotel for five days. The Irish celebrity couple has apparently booked all of the Lough Rynn Castle in Leitrim from June 30 to July 4.
All 58 rooms available in the idyllic castle have now been booked in what promises to be a memorable bash. Brian and his Irish team-mates play their last international match of the summer on June 26 when they take on Australia in a Test. That leaves him plenty of time to jet back home to enjoy his nuptials and honeymoon.
However, don’t expect to see any corny photo shoots of the happy day. The Clinic actress has shot down suggestions that they’ll flog their wedding picstures to a glossy magazine. “We’re not doing any selling of photos or anything like that,” she is reported to have said.
Although the reception is now sorted, the setting for the actual wedding ceremony has yet to be revealed. There are rumours that the couple may tie the knot at the local St Joseph’s Church in Aughavas. According to parish priest Fr Sam Holmes, the pair “may be considering four to five churches around the Mohill area” and St Joseph’s is one among them.
Brian and Amy have been dating since 2007 after meeting through a mutual friend. They got engaged last March just after the actress celebrated her 30th birthday and a few days after O’Driscoll marked Ireland’s Grand Slam victory.
