Russell Brand’s Little Black Book…

In an interview with the mirror.com, Russell Brand has said his little black book, his “trusty companion over the years”, is now a closed for good.

Russell said he won’t be needing all those ladies’ phone numbers anymore because, ahead of his nuptials to Katy Perry, the reformed lothario has pledged to remain faithful.

Russell, 34, is reported to have said: “You have to be. That’s one of the things about this institution of marriage, I’ve recently had explained to me by my wife. You must be faithful. And I don’t have a problem with that. I’m really, really in love.”

Then he apparently added: “Well, I mean. You know, it’s sort of odd isn’t it, because there is certainly a compromise. You just can’t maraud through life ‘seeing’ (we changed the word here for modesty…) whomever you’d like. Which is a shame ‘cos I wish I actually could do that. That’s the compromise.”

David Walliams & the Synchronized Swimmers for his wedding

 As celebrity wedding parties go, David Walliams and Lara Stone’s was actually refreshingly normal…Except for one thing, the ‘reported’ synchronized swimmers.

According to heatworld.com. the reception party for Walliams’ wedding took place at Shoreditch House in London where he’d clearly decided to make use of the rooftop pool on offer. It’s reported a James Bond movie was projected against the wall, whilst gold bikini-clad swimmers emerged and started a routine in the pool.

Guests including Dermot O’Leary, Noel Gallagher, Elton John, Neil Tennant and Geri Halliwell enjoyed dishes including fish and chips, risotto and pizzas that were delivered throughout the evening. Russell & Katy Planning Week Long Wedding

British comedian Russell Brand and his singer/ fiance Katy Perry are planning a week of wedding celebrations in October.  The couple have reportedly sent out ‘Save the Date’ cards to their friends and family.

The cards reportedly feature a picture of Indian henna hand art and urges guests to “Save the week for the wedding of Katy and Russell” from Oct 18 to 25 and reveals attendees “will need a passport”. The invite also states guests “will be contacted soon with more information”.

Ms Perry is reported to have said that the couple are planning a ‘smallish’ wedding, insisting she doesn’t want the ceremony to turn into a “drunk fest of people”.

“We don’t want it to be a drunk fest of people, just one night and then forgetting about it. We want it to be about love. The wedding will be small. I always have a ton of people around me and I think the people that are going to share this moment with us are the people we want to integrate into each other’s lives,” she said.

Heidi Klum & Seal Renew Wedding Vows

Heidi Klum and Seal renewed their wedding vows once again at the weekend. Having carried out the ceremony every year since they tied the knot five years ago, the supermodel and singer reaffirmed their marriage in front of their children and friends in Mexico.

The unidentified source is reported to have told People.com that the couple renewed their vows at sunset Saturday with their children and close family friends present. Reports said that the ceremony was followed by a reception with about 80 guests under an open-air hut decorated with white flowers and lit by dozens of chandeliers and thousands of candles, the source told People.

“It’s our time – a lovely family time,” Heidi recently told a US magazine. “It’s about remembering this moment of love we gave to each other and reinforcing it.”

Supermodel Heidi Klum and husband Seal, are the third of a recent string of celebrities to renew their vows, following in the footsteps of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, and Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott.

Naomi Campbell Engaged

Naomi Campbell is a lucky girl. She’s reported to be about to marry one of the richest men in the world, Vladislav Doronin. Naomi and her zillionaire partner Vladislav have been talking about tying the knot forever, and it seems like her dreams of having a multi-million dollar wedding are closer than ever.

The cat got out of the bag when Vladislav reportedly confessed to a magazine editor that they’re in the process of picking bridesmaids.

Online newspaper life.ru quoted the 47-year-old business tycoon as saying: “I can’t say it took us long to decide who will be bridesmaid. We are good friends with Dasha [Roman Abramovich’s girl friend), she is a wonderful person and talented designer. So she will be next to Naomi at our wedding.”

But there’s a minor problem that’s putting a damper on their wedding plans. Rumour has it Vladimir is currently still married to Ekaterina, the mother of his teenage daughter Katia.

Vladislav, who is nicknamed the ‘Donald Trump of Russia’, began his relationship with Naomi in 2008. He’s stood by her side through all her temper tantrums and arrests. Watch this space…

Simon Cowell to have ‘Four Weddings’

Simon Cowell, one of the toughest judges on TV has apparently a real soft spot for weddings.  Simon Cowell  is reportedly planning to get married four times to his fiance, Ms Mezhgan Hussainy.

Simon Cowell’s plans were revealed yesterday by his brother Tony, who said: “My mum is over in LA sorting out the lovebirds and coming back, hopefully, with a wedding date.”

He added that his mum had told him: “Last year he said he was never, never, never going to get married. “This year, he’s getting married four times, in Brighton, in LA, in Barbados on a yacht and in Hollywood.”

It is understood the wedding will be in Brighton, with the other events being blessings or celebrations.

Previously, the couple have stated that they were going to have two ceremonies to appease both sides of their family, but now they are planning four weeding events, no one is exactly sure where the extra two came from.

At the weekend, Cowell, 50, told Britain’s Got Talent viewers he wanted to find “the new Lassie”. Later, when he took his mum out to a Malibu restaurant, it’s reported that the one time Mr Nasty of TV took time out to pet another diner’s dog and feed it pizza.

Update – Elizabeth Taylor NOT getting Married?

Reports now suggest that screen legend Elizabeth Taylor is not getting married for the ninth time. Ms Taylor yesterday took to twitter to deny a report in US Weekly suggesting that wedding bells were set to ring for her and manager Jason Winters. “The rumours regarding my engagement simply aren’t true,” she wrote. “Jason is my manager and dearest friend. I love him with all my heart.”

Ms Taylor, 78, has had seven previous husbands, including being married to (and then divorcing) Richard Burton twice. A source had apparently told US Weekly: “It’s no secret that they’ve been together forever and are in love, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if they were engaged. Right now they are keeping it between them.”

Mr Winters, 49, also represents Janet Jackson. There were similar rumours regarding his relationship with Taylor three years ago, which were also denied. Ms Taylor has been single since her divorce from construction worker Larry Fortensky in 1996.

Elizabeth Taylor Engagement

Movie legend Elizabeth Taylor is to wed for the ninth time, it was claimed yesterday. The 78-year-old actress is said to have secretly become engaged to 49-year-old talent agent Jason Winters.

Ms Taylor, who suffers from a painful curvature of the spine, reportedly told a US columnist that Mr Winters was “one of the most wonderful men I’ve ever known”. A spokeswoman for Taylor said: “It’s no secret they are in love, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if they were engaged.”

In 2007, British papers reported that Taylor and Winters took a romantic vacation at a Hawaiian resort. Taylor spent “the evening caressing the face of [Winters].” At the time, the paper quoted a source as saying of the legend: “She didn’t think she’d fall in love again, but since Jason came into her life that has all changed.”

The screen legend has also gushed about Mr Winters to celebrity gossip columnist Liz Smith, describing him as “one of the most wonderful men I’ve ever known.” Obviously wonderful enough to be Ms Taylor’s ninth husband…

Ms Taylor has been single since 1996 when she divorced builder Larry Fortensky. Her most famous husband was actor Richard Burton, whom she married and divorced twice.

Katie Price and Alex Reid to wed again

After having a quick wedding in Las Vegas, model Katie Price and Alex Reid are looking for a venue to hold their wedding again. “We are not doing it as a celebrity thing, it’s about us celebrating with our family and friends,” dailystar.co.uk quoted Ms Price as saying.

The former glamour model said the blessing this summer would be a “family thing” and a DIY job. “We are doing a blessing in the summer ‘cos we want all our family there,” she told ITV1 show This Morning. “And obviously (Alex’s) mum would like to see her son get married … so yeah, I can’t wait.”

Katie, aka Jordan, said the couple would make the arrangements for their blessing together. “We’re both going to decide together and get our families involved, his mum, my mum. We’re all going to do it as a family thing, how really it should be done, not how other people tell you to do it. We’re not going to have a wedding planner, we’re literally going to do it ourselves.”

She said: “I absolutely love it being married again. It’s just completely different … We’re actually looking to buy a house together.  We’ve got separate careers. And I just love it. We’ve got more to talk about when we go home, we’re not in each other’s pockets 24/7 and I think it’s a much healthier way to be.”

Katie, who was married to Peter Andre, said she would not sell pictures from the wedding.

She added: “My relationship is 100 per cent right. I don’t need a baby or anything to make it even more right.”

Simon Cowell Planning Caribbean Wedding

X Factor judge Simon Cowell is said to be planning an unusual wedding for his bride Mezhgan Hussainy. He wants to purchase a large yacht and name it “The Simon Cowell’ and wed his finance aboard it.

According to the Mail Online, “Simon sees Barbados as his home from home. It would be such a great place to get married, and the plan is to do it at sea. The idea is to pick up all the guests in Barbados and then sail to St. Barts and get married there.

“Then they’d all sail back to Barbados for a huge party. It would just be close friends and family on the yacht. Simon has been saying he’d name it after himself.”

However, the idea of marrying in the Caribbean may meet some resistance from his mother Julie, who is keen for the wedding to take place in East Sussex, where Simon grew up. Mrs Cowell, 84, is said to have her heart set on St Margaret’s Church in Rottingdean, near Brighton, whose priest, Father Martin Morgan, was a guest at Cowell’s lavish 50th birthday party last year.
