Delta Goodrem and Brian McFadden Marriage Delay

Delta Goodrem and her fiance of more than a year Brian McFadden have decided to postpone their wedding due to “increased work commitments”.

“We were sitting down to try to organize the wedding and we were thinking: ‘We’re never going to get this wedding organized by Christmas’.” McFadden told The Sunday Telegraph. “I know if we don’t get married, everyone is going to say there are problems because we pushed the wedding back,” he continued. “But we want to get married and take a nice block of time off, like three months, enjoy our families being there and have a nice honeymoon – not get married between gigs.”

McFadden proposed to Australian singer Delta Goodrem in 2007, less than a year after he divorced Kerry Katona, with whom he has two daughters. Since then, the former Neighbours actress has twice postponed the wedding because of work.

McFadden, 29, is reported to have said: “We’re trying to work out a date between the World Cup and the end of the Formula 1 season.” Luckily, Delta, also 29, is not putting up too much of a fight. She said: “I would love to go to the World Cup.”

Grace Kelly Exhibition at the V&A

Some of the most famous outfits worn by Grace Kelly, the most elegant leading lady of her era, are to go on display in a new exhibition at the V&A museum in London.  Grace Kelly was the ultimate style icon and this exhibition will showcase her glamour and style as she lived her life, as one of Hollywood’s most popular actress, and moving on to become Princess Grace of Monaco.

The exhibition will be split into three sections; ‘The Actress,’ ‘The Bride’ and ‘The Princess,’ and spans fashion across four decades. The ‘Bride section’ will focus on the dress Grace Kelly wore for the announcement of her engagement to Prince Rainier and the clothes designed for her trousseau and dazzling wedding, in 1956.

Also featured are over 50 of Grace Kelly’s outfits, including some of the most beautiful dresses and outfits worn by the leading lady. Eight dresses by Christian Dior, an extravagant, beaded Balenciaga jacket, Yves Saint Laurent’s ‘Mondrian’ dress of 1965, Coco Chanel suits jewellery by Van Cleef & Arpels, and, of course, the famous, original Hermès ‘Kelly’ bag are all to be displayed.

The exhibition opens in London on the 17th April.

Michael Buble’s Wedding Plans

The Canadian singer Michael Buble is engaged. The 34 year old proposed to actress girlfriend Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre in November, though the news has just recently gone public. Michael proposed to his leading lady in her native country, Argentina, in front of her family. Michael is reported to have said “they’re ecstatic, they’re adorable, in love and laugh all day long” .

Ms Lopilato stars in the Argentinian soap opera, Atraccion x 4. The singer asked for his now fiancee’s hand with a diamond engagement ring from Vancouver jeweller Minichiello. Apparently, it’s reported that Mr Buble designed the ring himself.

The two met at a party in Buenos Aires. Lopilato is currently shooting a film while Buble and in March this year will begin a tour to support his Crazy Love CD. Michael is due to appear as the musical guest on “Saturday Night Live” on January 30.

Is it wedding bells for Geri Halliwell?

Is Geri Halliwell preparing to marry her toy boy Henry Beckwith? If recent behaviour is any indication, it would appear so. Plus, her close friend Kenny Goss and long time partner of George Michael may have spilled the beans.

According to the Sun, Geri and Kenny recently popped into Geri’s local parish church at St John-at-Hampstead to see the vicar for an hour. They then headed to swish Mayfair tailor Thom Sweeney, where Kenny was apparently asked which of the two of them should be congratulated. He immediately pointed at Geri, before catching himself and saying “er, I mean both of us”.

Reports in the Metro newspaper have reported that, according to an eyewitness, “Kenny and Geri seemed to spend the day making wedding arrangements. They were in the church for ages before looking at formal dress at the tailors. Geri was giggling and seemed really excited. She wouldn’t say what they were doing, but Kenny let the cat out of the bag”.

Geri and Henry, who is the son of property developer Sir John Beckwith, have been together since April 2009

Beyonce offers to organise Robbie Williams’ wedding

Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z have offered to organise Robbie Williams’ wedding to girlfriend Ayda Field.  Robbie was reported to have proposed to the American actress over the New Year holiday period. Conntactmusic.com have reported that Jay-Z is already volunteering to plan the lavish ceremony, with the help of his wife, Beyonce.

‘I would be happy to help Robbie organise his wedding. I am sure he will make it an extravagant party. I had my 40th last month in the Dominican Republic. That would be a great place for Robbie’s wedding. It’s the most stunning place on earth. It has everything – beautiful beaches, scenery, golf courses – and is easy to fly guests to,’ Jay-Z is reported to have said.

‘The entertainment at my party was all hot and if Robbie wants my help he should come over for dinner and Bey (Beyonce) and I can help him out. She is great at organising parties, she loves it,’ he added.

The hip-hop star insists he’ll even take the stage to perform for the newlyweds.  ‘I don’t know what Robbie’s entertainment plans are but, as a wedding present, I would get up after the speeches and do a little set,’ he is reported to have said.

Despite recently denying he and Ayda were engaged, speculation is growing that Robbie popped the question to the actress over the festive period as she has been recently photographed wearing a giant diamond ring on her ring finger.

Robbie Williams plans to marry on Valentine’s Day

Robbie Williams may only have got engaged last week but he is reported as desperate to make Ms Ayda Field, who he has been dating for around three years, his wife. It is reported that he has earmarked the Valentine’s day this year as a possible wedding date.

A Daily Star newspaper source has reportedly said that “Robbie doesn’t want to have a long, drawn-out engagement. When he gets something in his head, there’s no stopping him. He’s asked all his friends and family to keep the entire week free leading up to February 14, so they can have a week-long celebration before Valentine’s Day.”

The 35-year-old ex Take That singer is considering Santa Barbara, California, for the ceremony where he has already looked around two prospective venues. The nuptials are set to be a star-studded event, with his former Take That band mates Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Mark Owen and Jason Orange and other celebrity pals set to attend.

The Daily Star newspaper source reportedly added: “Robbie has asked best friend Jonathan Wilkes to be best man and it’s likely Take That will perform.”

Vince Vaughn weds in secret ceremony

Comedy actor Vince Vaughn is one of the first celebrities to walk down the aisle in 2010.  The Hollywood actor  secretly married his girlfriend of two years – Canadian estate agent Kyla Weber, People magazine reports.

The wedding took place over the weekend at the historic Arnour House in affluent Lake Forest, Illinois, on the shore of Lake Michigan,  Chicago, in front of 65 friends and family.

Speaking to the publication, a source said: “They could not be happier.”

Vaughn’s former girlfriend JENNIFER ANISTON, who starred alongside him in The Break-Up, did not attend the ceremony.

A spokesperson for Vaughn, 39, last night confirmed the ceremony did take place.

Carrie Underwood to get Married

According to Star Magazine, Carrie Underwood and Cowboys quarter back Tony Romo are planning to get married. They started dating after the Country Music Award -winning singer appeared at a Cowboys game to sing the “Star Spangled Banner” on Thanksgiving Day in 2005. Sources have said that the “the couple couldn’t be happier.”

Last month Underwood said on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” that her relationship with Fisher was the longest relationship she’d ever had and that their long-distance relationship is as strong as ever.  “We see each other more than people think we see each other,” she told Ellen. “We don’t go out…but we do get to see each other.”

“We’re pretty private, and we obviously want to keep it that way,” Fisher recently told the Toronto Sun. “Keep our relationship and details really private. But at the same time, we’re both happy with the way things are. I’m obviously happy, and it’s been a good start so far on the ice, and things are great off the ice.” The couple has not set a wedding date

Kevin Jonas to Marry

It is reported that Kevin Jonas has booked a wedding venue and could marry his girlfriend Danielle Deleasa this Saturday, at the same castle in Long Island where ‘NSYNC’s Joey Fatone got married, and where scenes from Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher’s “What Happens in Vegas” were filmed.

Kevin Jonas met Danielle Deleasa for the very first time in May 2007 while they were vacationing in the Bahamas with their families.  The oldest of the Jonas Brothers proposed to the former hairdresser in July this year, presenting her with a cushion-cut diamond ring that he designed with Jacob & Co.

Sources claim that the bride will don a strapless Vera Wang wedding dress and a hairpiece designed by Denise Leli.  “Danielle has gone for a romantic dress and an intricate headpiece with floral details, because when she met Kevin on the beach she was wearing a flower in her hair.”
